Anthea Aromatics is a speciality chemicals manufacturer, offering a range of fragrance ingredients and pharma intermediates, based in Navi Mumbai, India. Anthea also undertakes contract research and manufacturing for select Customers. The company has two research labs and two manufacturing sites located in Navi Mumbai and Tarapur in Maharashtra.

DRT-Anthea Aroma Chemicals Private Limited was established in 2008, as a 50:50 Joint Venture between DRT, France (now part of Swiss multinational, Firmenich) and Anthea Aromatics.
DRT-Anthea manufactures a range of products based on terpene chemistry for the Flavour & Fragrance industry.
The company has two production sites in Roha, and manufactures products like Anthamber™, Dihydromyrcenol, Methyl Pentenone, Linalool, Geraniol and Nerol.

Catàsynth Speciality Chemicals is a Joint Venture between Solvay and Anthea.
Catàsynth was established in 2016 by Anthea to manufacture a range of products from Pyrocatechol. In 2020, Solvay made an equity investment in Catàsynth to take a significant minority shareholding, thus reinforcing Solvay’s downstream integration into Pyrocatechol derivatives.
Catàsynth makes use of innovative and sustainable processes, developed and patented by Anthea, for manufacturing Methylenedioxybenzene (MDB), synthetic Piperonal (Heliotropin), Helional and Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO).
The manufacturing facilities are located within the Mangalore Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Mangalore SEZ is a designated chemical manufacturing cluster located in close proximity to Mangalore city, the Mangalore deep-water port and an international airport.
