Anthea was founded in 1992 by Dr Vincent Paul, a reputed scientist, who, prior to setting up the Company, had done post-doctoral stints in Columbia and Johns Hopkins Universities, before returning to India to join the erstwhile Hindustan Lever (now Hindustan Unilever Limited) research centre in Mumbai.

Dr Vincent Paul received his PhD in Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 1963. He was awarded a Fulbright scholarship to pursue post-doctoral research at Columbia University (1963 to 1965, with Professor Gilbert Stork) and Johns Hopkins University (1965 to 1966, with Professor E.H. White). He returned to India in 1966 and joined Unilever’s Indian subsidiary, Hindustan Lever Limited.
He resigned in 1983 to set up a consultancy firm, Dr Paul & Associates and founded Anthea Aromatics in 1992. He is the author/co-author of many technical publications and has several patents in the field of F&F chemistry.

Dr Paul Vincent Menacherry

Dr Paul Vincent Menacherry received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Yale University in 1997 under the direction of Professor Gary Haller. Prior to joining Anthea, Dr Menacherry worked for 4 years at Precision Combustion Inc. in North Haven, Connecticut.
Dr Menacherry has played a pivotal role in the design and engineering of all our manufacturing units and closely monitors the Technology function, which includes new product selection, novel process development, scale-up to plant levels and commercial production.
He is the author/co-author of several technical publications.
Mr Mathew Vincent Menacherry has an MBA (Finance) from NMIMS, Mumbai University. He has been with Anthea since its inception.
He is responsible for Sales and Marketing, Purchase, Supply Chain and Strategy Development for the Group.

Mr Mansoor Calcuttawala

Mr Mansoor Calcuttawala has been associated with the Indian fragrance industry for over 30 years and has considerable experience in different aspects of the F&F business.
His strengths include odour assessment and perfumery evaluation.
Mr Arun Khanderia has been associated with the F&F industry for over 30 years. In addition to his involvement in Anthea, he also runs one of the largest F&F import houses in the country.
His strengths include strategic planning and financial management.
